Horses have an uncanny ability to mirror our energy, emotions, and intentions, reflecting back parts of ourselves we may not always see. Our 6-Week Wellness through Horsemanship Course is designed to harness this power, guiding you on a journey of self-discovery and genuine connection through the art of liberty horsemanship. Supported by an equine partner who resonates with your unique energy and will choose to support you in this chapter, you’ll experience the EquiTune approach—rooted in trust, empathy, and freedom of choice.
This is more than a course; it’s a transformational experience that will deepen your bond with horses and offer profound insights into yourself. Give yourself the gift of grounding and mental clarity before the busy holiday season begins.
The Path to True Liberty: Moving Beyond Tools to Energy
At its heart, liberty is the ultimate expression of trust. It is the art of communicating with a horse when they have the complete freedom to walk away. Because of this, we do not rely on whips, ropes, or treats to force compliance or bribe connection. Instead, your primary tool is your own presence—learning to navigate the subtle, invisible push and pull of your energy.
However, true freedom is a journey, and safety is our highest priority.
When you first step into the arena, we begin with the supportive boundary of a lead rope. Think of the rope not as a tool for control, but as a safety net and a translation device. As you learn this new somatic language from the school master horse who has chosen to go on this journey with you (our herd are experts and LOVE teaching), the rope keeps you both physically safe while you practice calibrating your internal energy.
You will learn how to project your intent, invite them into your space, and set soft boundaries. Once your energetic cues become clear, fluent, and rooted in mutual trust, the ropes naturally fall away—leaving nothing between you and your horse but a genuine, choosing connection.
Co-Regulation & The Power of the Equine Field
Horses possess an extraordinary, natural ability to soothe our nervous systems. Because they are prey animals, their survival depends on constant energetic awareness, and their resting state is deeply grounded. Simply being in their presence can automatically slow your heart rate, deepen your breath, and recalibrate your parasympathetic nervous system. It is a physiological sigh of relief for the human body.
However, true liberty horsemanship is a two-way street. The real magic happens when you transition from simply soaking up their calm to becoming your horse’s emotional anchor.
A horse is a 550kg sentient being with a heart up to five times larger than yours, generating a massive electromagnetic field. When they are calm, that field is a sanctuary. But if they notice a sudden shadow, a strange noise, or a perceived threat, their instinct is to flee—and that massive wave of energy will hit you. You will physically feel the sudden, powerful pull of their arousal and excitement.
In those split seconds, they look to you. If you catch their anxiety and spike with them, you validate their fear. But when you learn to anchor your own nervous system, you become a rock in the storm. By holding your ground and maintaining your internal calm, you offer that 550kg animal a safe harbor to return to.
This process builds profound somatic resilience in both of you. You learn to stay centered amidst overwhelming external energy, while your horse learns that they don’t have to run—because your presence is the safest place to be.

Meet Your Mentors: Our Liberty Dancing Herd
Experience horsemanship unlike any other. Our 6-Week Intensive Wellness through Horsemanship Course is crafted to transform how you view and connect with horses—and, ultimately, how you see yourself. Whether you’re completely new to horses or seeking to deepen an existing bond, this program is your invitation to experience horsemanship that’s rooted in respect, intuition, and true partnership.
You do not need to bring a horse, own a horse, or worry about your horse's experience level. We provide our hand-selected herd of master educators.
These aren't just any horses; they are highly attuned, schoolmaster experts who double as true liberty dancing pros. They are fluent in the language of energy and have spent years mastering the art of somatic co-regulation. Because they already know the "dance steps," they act as the ultimate mirrors and gentle guides.
If your energy is scattered, they will gently show you. When you find your true, grounded anchor, they will respond instantly with grace, softness, and a willingness to follow your lead. Working with a schoolmaster allows you to fast-track your own learning because you can completely trust that your partner understands the assignment. You are free to focus entirely on your own awareness, breath, and presence, supported by a horse who is ready to dance with you.
Ethical Horsemanship. No Force. No Gimmicks.
At EquiTune, we practice authentic, science-backed techniques that honor both you and your horse. This isn’t about control or ego. Here, you’ll learn to communicate with your equine partner through energy, breath, and body language—the same way horses connect with each other in their herd.
The Horse Chooses You.
Our 12-horse herd is intuitive, responsive, and deeply connected. In their environment, the horse that feels aligned with your energy will choose you, leading to a unique and personal journey. This element of choice isn’t just symbolic; it’s an important foundation of ethical horsemanship, honouring the horse’s wisdom and freedom.
